Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance the estimated cost of the aerial survey of Dublin city which it is proposed to carry out in 1966; what planes will be used; and what new personnel will be recruited for the purpose and for the subsequent mapping. Lynch: I am informed by the Director of Ordnance Survey that a small part only of Dublin city and its suburbs will be photographed during 1966 from planes of an t-Aer Chor at an estimated cost of £250. New personnel will not be recruited during 1966 for this project, and at this stage it is not possible to say whether any additional personnel will be needed for the subsequent mapping.
