20. Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate when it is proposed to advertise the Burncourt regional water scheme.

Mr. Blaney: I am not in a position to say when the Tipperary (SR) County Council will advertise this scheme for tenders. I understand that acquisition of the necessary land and water rights is proceeding. Meanwhile, the detailed documents for stage I of the scheme are being considered by my technical advisers in conjunction with the council's advisers.
