Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Purchase of Irish Commercial Concerns.

13. Mr. Timmons asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if any record is kept of purchases of Irish commercial concerns by foreign interests; and, if not, if he will consider in the public interest that such a record be kept by the Department.

Mr. Childers (for the Minister for Industry and Commerce): No special record is kept and I do not consider that the public interest now requires one. Particulars of all companies are, of course, available for inspection by the public at the Companies Registration Office, Dublin Castle.
