Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mentally and Physically Handicapped Children.
Mr. Treacy Mr. Treacy
 6. Mr. Treacy asked the Minister for Health the number of mentally and physically handicapped children at present on the waiting list for places in special institutions or schools in the case of each health authority in the country; and the number of years which the child in question has been on such waiting list in each case.
Mr. MacEntee Mr. MacEntee
Mr. MacEntee: I should like, in reply to the Deputy's question, to give him the most recent figures available. I have therefore communicated with all health authorities and if the Deputy would be good enough to repeat his question in a couple of weeks or so I would hope then to have up-to-date information for him.
