Mr. Coogan asked the Minister for Local Government the current number of applications for houses with all local bodies in the country. Mr. Coogan Mr. Coogan Mr. Coogan: Can the Minister indicate why such important information is not available? Mr. Blaney Mr. Blaney Mr. Blaney: For the very simple reason that the local authorities are not required to furnish such information.
