[1607] 20. Mr. McAuliffe asked the Minister for Lands whether any of the lands purchased by his Department at Carriganaltig, Castletownroche, Cork, is arable land; and, if so, how many acres of such land are arable.

Mr. Moran: Close liaison is maintained between the Forestry Division of my Department and the Land Commission to ensure that no land required for Land Commission purposes is devoted to State afforestation.
