Mr. Leneghan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding proposals for the erection of national schools at (a) Corclough West, (b) Rossport, (c) Doohoma, (d) Ballymunnelly, (e) Carratighe, and (f) Doolough in the North Mayo constituency. Hillery Minister for Education (Dr. Hillery): The position in regard to Corclough, Ballymunnelly and Carratigue national schools is as stated in my replies of the 24th April, 1963. 927 The Commissioners of Public Works hope to be in a position to invite [927] tenders at an early date for the erection of the new school at Rossport. It is understood from the commissioners that the site for a new school at Doohoma is suitable. The preparation of sketch plans will now be undertaken.
