Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Social Welfare Contribution Refund.

21. Mr. Tully asked the Minister for Social Welfare why no refund was made in respect of six stamps affixed to the card of a person (name and address supplied) between the 23rd November and 28th December, 1959.

Minister for Social Welfare (Mr. Boland): I have had the facts of this case re-examined, and it has been decided to refund the value of the six insurance stamps in question. A form of application for the refund is being [1446] sent to the insured person for completion by the employer for whom he worked in the relevant period.

Mr. Tully: Thank you very much. It took two and a half years to get it back.
