Mr. Mullen asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that, when customs officers confiscate goods from persons entering or leaving this country, it is not the practice to issue receipts for such goods; and whether he will ensure that in the future receipts are issued to travellers for all goods so confiscated. Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan: It has not heretofore been the practice for the customs to issue receipts to travellers in respect of articles taken from them.
