114. Mr. Leneghan asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the provision of new national schools at (a) Culleens, Ballina, (b) Cullens, Meelick, Swinford, and (c) Callow, Foxford, County Mayo.

Dr. Hillery: Sites have been offered by the Reverend Managers for the erection of new schools at Culleens, Ballina, and at Callow. Reports as to the suitability of the sites are awaited from the Commissioners of Public Works.

The Reverend Manager has been asked on a number of occasions to obtain a site for a new school at Culleens, Swinford, but so far a site has not been offered.
