46. Mr. Casey asked the Minister for Justice if it is his intention to introduce proposals for legislation amending the Adoption Act, 1952.

Mr. Haughey: An Bord Uchtala have from time to time made suggestions for amendment of the Adoption Act, 1952. I have suggested to the Board that they should now review their recommendations in the light of all their experience to date and I have undertaken to consider any recommendations they may make as a result of that review.
