86. Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received proposals from the Kerry County Council to extend the Lixnaw water supply to the districts of Muckenaugh, Ballynageragh, Ballyrehan and Garrynagore, County Kerry; and, if so, when the proposals will be approved.

Mr. Blaney: Approval was given on the 24th March, 1961, to an extension of the Lixnaw water supply [1290] scheme to serve the districts of Muckenagh and Ballynageragh. No proposal has been received in my Department in regard to an extension to serve Ballyrehan and Garrynagore.
