Minister for Health (Mr. MacEntee): I move:

That for the purpose of any Act of the present session to amend and [563] extend the Nurses Act, 1950, and to repeal section 44 of the Midwives Act, 1944, it is expedient to authorise the payment to An Bord Altranais out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of annual grants towards the expenses of the Board.

The expenses under this Resolution would be nominal.
