An Ceann Comhairle: Tá teachtaireacht faighte agam ón Uachtarán á chur in iúl go bhfuil sé tar éis an Bille Toghcháin (Leasú), 1961 a chur faoi bhreith na Cúirte Uachtaraí, faoi Air-teagal 26 den Bhunreacht, féachaint an bhfuil an Bille sin in aghaidh an Bhunreachta nó in aghaidh aon fhorála dhe.

I have received a message from the [471] President stating that he has referred the Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 1961, to the Supreme Court pursuant to Article 26 of the Constitution, for a decision on the question as to whether the Bill is repugnant to the Constitution or to any provision thereof.
