26. Mr. O.J. Flanagan asked the Minister for Local Government if he will arrange to have increased road grants made available to Laois County Council this year in view of the urgent necessity for the improvement of many major and county roads in Laois.

Mr. Blaney: The main and county road improvement grants to Laois County Council for the present financial year were increased by £7,400 further increase of £12.800 in these grants has been made in the allocation for the 1961/62.
