Dr. Browne asked the Minister for Local Government whether the final proposals for the provision of a dual carriageway road from Dublin to Bray have been received by his Department for consideration from Dublin Corporation; and, if so, whether, in order to promote road safety, steps will be taken to ensure that the new road will where possible, not be laid through thickly-populated areas or in the vicinity of schools.
