Dáil Éireann - Volume 185 - 23 November, 1960

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford Corporation Houses.

42. Mr. Corish asked the Minister for Local Government the reason for the delay in commencing the building of thirty houses at John Street by the Wexford Corporation.

Mr. Blaney: Approval was given on 9th September, 1960, to the undertaking of the scheme in question on condition that the plans and specification were re-examined with a view to securing economies in cost. I understand that this has been done and that revised plans will shortly be submitted for approval.

Mr. Corish: The Minister cannot say how shortly?

Mr. Blaney: Yes—any minute.
