53. Mr. T. Lynch asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of factories county by county established in the State from 30th April, 1957, to 30th April, 1959.

Mr. J. Lynch: As the information by the Deputy takes the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Leas-Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

The statement includes only those undertakings which came to the notice of my Department. There may, of course, be others of which there is no official record to date.

[1272] NEW industrial concerns and extensions to existing industrial concerns which came to notice as having commenced production in each county in the period from the 30th April, 1957, to 30th April, 1959.
