28. Dr. Browne asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the names of counsel and the total fees paid or to be paid to such counsel briefed for the State in legal proceedings within and outside the State since March, 1957.

Mr. MacEntee: Subject to the permission of the Leas-Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a tabular statement showing the amounts of fees paid or payable by my Department and associated Offices to counsel briefed on behalf of the State. I am not in a position to give particulars of fees not yet assessed or those payable by other Departments. Following is the statement:—
