Dáil Éireann - Volume 169 - 19 June, 1958

Order of Business.

An Tánaiste: It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1 and 2. If not already reached, it is proposed to interrupt business at 1.30 p.m. to take No. 2 and to resume No. 1 on its conclusion. Questions will be taken at 3 p.m.

Mr. Sweetman: Supposing the Transport Bill finishes before 3 o'clock?

An Tánaiste: In that case we shall resume on the Finance Bill. I think Deputy Casey and I between us can assure the Deputy that the interval in the debate on the Finance Bill will be adequate.

Mr. Kyne: Could the Tánaiste indicate if the Government intend to give time this session for the Law Reform Bill?

An Tánaiste: I promised the Deputy a reply to that question this week but I find myself unable to do so. I can assure him, however, I shall be able to give him the Government's decision on the matter on Tuesday.
