Mr. Tierney asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state how [455] many cottages were built in North Tipperary in the years 1955, 1956 and 1957; and how many it is proposed to build in 1958.

Minister for Local Government (Mr. Blaney): The number of houses completed by the Tipperary (North Riding) County Council in the years 1955, 1956 and 1957 were 142, 34 and 21 respectively. It is estimated by the local authority that 55 houses will be built by them in 1958.
