[792] Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Finance if, for a trial period of one year, he will consider intiating the system of pay-as-you-earn.

Mr. MacEntee: The introduction of a system of pay-as-you-earn will, no doubt, be considered by the Commission on Income Taxation, and I propose to await their views in the matter.
