Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Decay of Timber in State Forests.

Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that much valuable timber has been allowed to decay over a number of years in State forests, and, if so, if he will take steps to have such waste eliminated.

Mr. Childers: I am not aware that any valuable timber has been allowed to decay in State forests as suggested by the Deputy. If the Deputy will furnish me with particulars of any case where he believes this has happened I will have the matter investigated without delay.
