Mr. Calleary asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the proposed reorganisation of the Ballina postal area will be undertaken.

Minister for Social Welfare (Mr. Corish) (for the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs): I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to a question on the 14th February last affecting an area in the Ballina Head Office District in which I indicated that it was hoped to undertake the reorganisation of postal services in the district next year.
