Mr. Geoghegan asked the Minister for Justice whether a contract has been accepted for the erection of a new Garda station at Carna, County Galway, and, if so, when work is likely to start.

Mr. Everett: A contract for the erection of a new Garda station at this centre has not yet been placed. The answer to the second part of the question does not, therefore, arise. I will, however, keep the Deputy informed of any developments.
