Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Finance if any repayments have been made by the E.S.B. in respect of moneys advanced by the Government for rural electrification, and, if so, if he will give particulars.

Mr. Sweetman: Repayments have been made each year commencing with the year 1948-49 and amount to date to £155,434.
