Liam Mac Cuinneagáin asked the Minister for Lands if he will indicate, in respect of the Convoy area of County Donegal (1) the farms which the Land Commission have acquired in the past 12 months and (2) the farms in respect of which proposals for acquisition are afoot and the stage such proposals have now reached.

Mr. Derrig: The Land Commission have not acquired any lands in this district during the period in question and no acquisition proceedings for such lands are current at present. The possibility of acquiring suitable lands there will be kept in mind.
