Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Newport Postal Deliveries.

Mrs. Ryan asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that there is no postal delivery, on Wednesdays, from Lackamore Post Office, Newport, County Tipperary, as a result of which a number of families are deprived of their mail; and, if so, if he will sanction a six-day delivery in that area.

Mr. Boland: The provision of a daily delivery in the Lacamore Sub-Post Office area will be considered when reorganisation of the postal services in the Limerick head office district is undertaken.
