[1258] Mr. Keyes asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the average number of men employed in County Limerick on works under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949, for each of the three years ended 31st March, 1953.

Minister for Local Government (Mr. Smith): The average number of men employed per month on works under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949, by Limerick County Council in each of the three years ended 31st March, 1953, was 351, 169 and 61, respectively.
