Mr. Sweetman asked the Minister for Lands whether he will arrange to have shelter belts planted alongside the road leading from the Curragh Camp to Williams Corner, Brownestown.

Mr. Derrig: The establishment of shelter belts is a matter not for my Department but for the owners of the land on which it is proposed to establish them. Assistance and advice on this type of work are supplied by most county committees of agriculture.
