Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Enniscorthy Telephone Kiosk.

Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have a telephone kiosk erected at Duffry Hill, Enniscorthy, as it is a built-up area with over 100 new houses, or, alternatively, if he will consider opening a sub-post office for the convenience of old age pensioners and the general public in that part of the town, as it is a long distance from the post office.

Mr. Childers: Arrangements are already in train for the erection of a telephone kiosk at Cathedral Street, Enniscorthy, about 20 yards from the corner of Duffry Hill.

The circumstances do not warrant the opening of a sub-post office in the Duffry Hill area.
