Mr. O. Flanagan Mr. O. Flanagan
Mr. O. Flanagan asked the Minister for Health if he will sanction the establishment of an eye clinic at Ferbane, County Offaly and thus obviate the hardships involved in people having to travel to Tullamore or Birr by the provision of a local service.
Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan
Dr. Ryan: The question of the establishment of an ophthalmic clinic at Ferbane is a matter in the first instance for the local authority. I will consider the matter sympathetically if and when a proposal is received from the local authority.
