Mr. Corry Mr. Corry Mr. Corry asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the rates payable in home assistance schemes in North, South and West Cork assistance areas, respectively. Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan: I am not in a position to state the rates of home assistance payable in the North, South and West Cork public assistance districts. Home assistance is not paid in accordance with any fixed scale. The amount payable in each particular case is determined by the appropriate public assistance authority in the light of the general circumstances of the applicant and his household and the number of dependents.
