Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if any measures have been taken to develop our sulphur deposits and to make supplies available.

Mr. Lemass: Certain survey and exploratory work has been carried out on our deposits of sulphur-bearing materials, such as pyrites, gypsum and anhydrite, and the possibility of utilising these resources to the best advantage is being examined at present.
