Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Telephone Facilities.

Mr. Palmer asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have a public telephone erected at Kilmakillogue, Kenmare, to facilitate fishermen trawling in the bay to market their fish readily in Cork or elsewhere and to enable local residents to contact their dispensary doctor, who lives 15 miles distant.

Mr. Norton: Public telephone facilities in rural areas are provided only by way of call offices in post office premises. There is no post office at Kilmakillogue nor on the information available, is one warranted.
