Dáil Éireann - Volume 118 - 15 December, 1949 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dundrum, County Tipperary, Postal Deliveries. Mr. Davern Mr. Davern 2380 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for [2380] Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that the people of Corhue, Dundrum, County Tipperary, have a postal delivery on only four days per week, and, if so, whether he will provide a daily delivery as was previously the practice. Mr. Corish Mr. Corish Mr. Corish: I am aware that the townland of Corhue, Dundrum, County Tipperary, has a postal delivery on four days of the week only. It would not be practicable to afford a daily delivery, at present, as this would entail additional expenditure which would not be justified. The existing service is being provided at a loss. I will have the matter re-examined when the Dundrum district is being surveyed in connection with the general reorganisation of postal services now proceeding. Dáil Éireann 118 Ceisteanna—Questions.
