Mr. S. Collins asked the Minister for Local Government if he will now state when he proposes to introduce proposals for legislation to govern the issue of driving licences, and what qualifying tests he contemplates imposing.

Mr. Corish: I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to a similar question on 21st July last. I am not yet in a position to indicate the nature of any amending legislation that may be decided upon or when it will be introduced.
