Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) Bill, 1949—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill to amend the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934, so as to make fees for medical and surgical treatment of the workmen payable by the employer in addition to the compensation payable by him.

Ordered: That the Second Stage be taken on Wednesday next.
