Mr. Commons asked the Minister for [164] Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider the establishment of a sub-post office at Shanvaughera, Knock, County Mayo.

Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Everett): I find that the amount of business likely to be transacted would not warrant the expense of establishing and maintaining a sub-post office at Shanvaughera, Knock, County Mayo. The district is thinly populated and is already reasonably well served postally, there being three post offices within a radius of four miles.
