An Ceann Comhairle Frank Fahy An Ceann Comhairle: The Deputy will now withdraw from the House. Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne: I will stay here until I get a reply from the Minister as to what steps he has taken—— An Ceann Comhairle Frank Fahy An Ceann Comhairle: I am compelled to name the Deputy. Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne: ——to avert a milk shortage in the City of Dublin. An Tánaiste Seán F. Lemass An Tánaiste: I move that the Deputy be suspended from the service of the Dáil. Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne: Why does he not answer the question? Question put: “That the Deputy be suspended from the service of the Dáil.” An Ceann Comhairle Frank Fahy An Ceann Comhairle: I declare the motion carried. The Deputy will withdraw. Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne: I still persist in protesting against the Minister's action in refusing to say what steps he is taking as regards the supply of milk to the City of Dublin. An Ceann Comhairle Frank Fahy An Ceann Comhairle: The Deputy will be removed from the House. Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne: Milk and butter are in short supply in Dublin to-day and I ask the Minister for Agriculture what steps he is taking to alleviate that shortage. I know how to conduct myself in this House but I am being treated differently from any other member of this House—I have always been. An Ceann Comhairle Frank Fahy An Ceann Comhairle: The Deputy has, by a decision of the House, been suspended from the service of the Dáil. Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne Mr. Byrne: Because I am doing my duty to my constituents, but I still persist—— An Ceann Comhairle Frank Fahy An Ceann Comhairle: The Deputy will obey the decision of the House.
