Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Boots for Afforestation Workers.
Mr. McAuliffe Mr. McAuliffe
Mr. McAuliffe asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that a number of men employed by his Department on work of afforestation in North Cork have not yet been supplied with rubber boots; and if so, whether he will state when these boots will be provided and the cause of the delay in providing them.
Minister for Lands (Mr. Moylan) Seán Moylan
Minister for Lands (Mr. Moylan): The practice of my Department is to provide rubber boots for workmen whenever they are engaged on special operations necessitating the wearing of such footwear. It is not practicable to supply rubber boots for general use by all forestry employees.
