Risteárd Ua Maolchatha asked the Minister for Finance if he will state whether a statement has been prepared, in respect of 1945, of the national income and expenditure, etc., corresponding to that published last year in respect of the years 1938-44; and if he will state when such a statement will be published.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Aiken): A statement of the kind referred to by the Deputy is in course of preparation. Sufficient progress has not so far been made to enable me to indicate even an approximate date for publication.
