Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Wool.

Mr. Cogan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is intended to reduce the maximum price payable to farmers for wool in the coming season, and if he can give an assurance that the price to be paid to producers will be not less favourable than that which obtained last year.

Mr. Lemass: The whole question of the control of native wool prices is at present under review, and I anticipate that it will be possible to make an announcement in the matter at an early date.
