Mr. Hughes Mr. Hughes 772 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state with reference to the production of bakers bread (a) the total quantity of flour used for the year 1940, the year 1943, and the nine [772] months ending 30th September, 1944; (b) the total quantity of flour used by bakeries situated in the City of Dublin for the year 1940, the year 1943, and the nine months ending 30th September, 1944. Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan Dr. Ryan: The quantity of bakers flour delivered by millers in the year 1940 was 1,296,895 sacks (280 lbs.). The corresponding figures for 1943 and the nine months ending 30th September, 1944, were 1,410,875 sacks and 1,254,724 sacks, respectively.
