Mr. Fitzgerald-Kenney Mr. Fitzgerald-Kenney 2351 [2351] Mr. Fitzgerald-Kenney asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of officials employed by the Land Commission in the area worked from its Castlebar office in January, 1939, and the number employed at present in the said area. Mr. Moylan Mr. Moylan Mr. Moylan: In January, 1939, in the South Mayo district, with headquarters at Castlebar, the Land Commission employed 13 inspectors, 27 gangers and paymasters, and one clerical officer. The corresponding figures at present are five inspectors, 18 gangers and paymasters, and one clerical officer. The reduction in staff is due to emergency conditions.
