Mr. MacEntee Mr. MacEntee Mr. MacEntee: I have no knowledge of any shortage of small silver and copper coins in the provincial towns during Christmas, 1937, and Easter, 1938. Inquiries have been made through the Currency Commission, but have failed to elicit any information regarding any such shortage. The Currency Commission points out that ample supplies of all denominations of Irish token coin were available at the Commission on the dates stated. Dáil Éireann 71 Written Answers.
