Parliamentary Secretary to Minister for Local Government and Public Health (Dr. Ward): The Minister has assented to the petition of the commissioner administering the Westmeath Board of Health and Public Assistance [4] for compulsory powers for the acquisition of lands and water rights for the purpose of the proposed water scheme. The provisional order was issued to the local authority on the 11th instant.
