Ryan asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what is the cause of the delay in proceeding with the division of the Carden Estate, Barnane, Templemore, County Tipperary, applicants for which were interviewed several months ago. Mr. Boland Mr. Boland Mr. Boland: The Land Commission have instituted proceedings for the acquisition of some 626 acres of the lands of Barnane on the Thompson Estate (formerly a holding on the Carden Estate), but these proceedings have not reached the stage when the lands can be acquired for division.
