Eamonn O Ciosáin asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state when he intends to introduce proposals for legislation in connection with inland fisheries.

Dr. Ryan: The drafting of a rather comprehensive Bill dealing with the inland fisheries is approaching completion. There will be no avoidable delay about introducing that measure in the Dáil, but I am not yet able to indicate a definite date in that connection.
