Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition and Division of Land in Tipperary.

Mr. Morrissey asked the Minister for Lands whether he has received a resolution from the Land Settlement Committee of the parishes of Drom and Inch, County Tipperary, regarding the acquisition and division of certain estates in those areas; and, if so, will he state whether it is the intention to acquire and divide those lands.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands (Mr. O'Grady): The resolution to which the Deputy refers was received by the Land Commission. The lands indicated in the resolution are, with others, the subject of investigation as to suitability for acquisition by the Land Commission for their statutory purposes.
